Welcome to The Shipping Lounge™ (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, visiting our store, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Scope of Services

The Shipping Lounge™ provides retail services including, but not limited to:

  • Shipping and packing services

  • Package receiving and pickup

  • Mailbox and mail-receiving services (subject to USPS approval and compliance)

  • Printing, scanning, and document handling

  • Workspace, chair, or equipment rentals

  • Notary-related accommodations (where applicable)

Services may be offered in phases and are subject to availability, regulation, and compliance requirements.


Independent Business Disclaimer

The Shipping Lounge™ is an independent business and is not affiliated with or operated by the United States Postal Service (USPS) or any shipping carrier.

Carrier services are provided under their respective terms and conditions.


Customer Identification & Verification

For security, compliance, and fraud prevention, we may require valid government-issued identification before providing certain services, including but not limited to:

  • Shipping services

  • Mailbox and mail-receiving services

  • Package pickup

  • Notary-related services

  • Workspace or equipment rentals

Failure to provide required identification may result in service refusal.


Mailbox & Mail Services (USPS Compliance)

Mailbox and mail-receiving services are governed by USPS regulations and require completion of USPS Form 1583 and proper identification.

Important rules include:

  • Mail may only be accepted for authorized individuals listed on Form 1583

  • Mail addressed to unauthorized names will be returned to sender

  • Mailboxes may not be shared

  • Verbal authorization is not accepted

  • Identification is required for mail pickup

The Shipping Lounge™ reserves the right to refuse or discontinue mail services for non-compliance.


Prohibited Items & Declarations

Customers are responsible for accurately declaring the contents of all packages.

We reserve the right to refuse shipment of:

  • Prohibited or illegal items

  • Hazardous materials

  • Undeclared or suspicious contents

  • Items that violate carrier or legal requirements

The Shipping Lounge™ does not inspect package contents but may decline service at its discretion.


Payments & Fees

All services must be paid in full before processing.
We do not offer deferred payment or “pay later” services.

Fees are based on services requested, labor performed, and applicable regulations.


Refunds & Chargebacks

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

  • Suspension or termination of services

  • Refusal of future services

Customers are encouraged to contact us directly to resolve concerns before initiating disputes.


No Legal or Professional Advice

The Shipping Lounge™ does not provide legal, tax, or professional advice.

We do not:

  • Interpret documents

  • Advise on legal matters

  • Guarantee outcomes related to mailed or shipped items

Customers are responsible for ensuring their documents and shipments meet applicable requirements.


Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Shipping Lounge™ is not liable for carrier delays, losses, or damages

  • We do not guarantee delivery times or transit outcomes

  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service, where applicable

Carrier insurance and claims processes apply.


Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate service at any time if:

  • Required documentation is not provided

  • Requests violate laws, regulations, or carrier rules

  • Behavior is abusive, threatening, or disruptive

  • Compliance or security concerns arise

SMS Terms & Conditions

1.    SMS Consent Communication:

The information 839-216-5100 obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.



2.    Types of SMS Communications:

If you have consented to receive text messages from The Shipping Lounge, you may receive messages related to:

3.    Message Frequency:
Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication. For example, you may receive up to [3] SMS messages per week related you’re your account notifications.

 

Example: "Message frequency may vary. You may receive up to 3 SMS messages per week regarding your notifications.

4.    Potential Fees for SMS Messaging: 

Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.



5.    Opt-In Method:

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from The Shipping Lounge by submitting an online form.

 

6.    Opt-Out Method:

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply "STOP" to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.
