The six plans
Two kinds of plans. Packages only is for deliveries from private carriers like UPS, FedEx, DHL and Amazon, with no postal paperwork. A full mailbox takes your U.S. Mail and packages, and needs USPS Form 1583.

What to bring
It depends on the kind of plan you choose.
Packages-only plans
Ship It Here, Lounge Receive Personal, Lounge Receive Business
- One current photo ID, such as a driver's license or state ID.
- Your signature on our packages-only agreement. It confirms we can't accept U.S. Mail for you at this address.
- Anyone else picking up for you: their name, phone and driver's license number.
Full mailbox plans
Lounge Plus, Lounge Business, ShieldMail
- Two forms of ID. One must have your photo, like a driver's license, state ID or passport.
- USPS Form 1583. The Postal Service requires it before we can receive your mail. We help you fill it out and you sign it with us.
- Business plans: your business name as it appears on its registration.
This is a Postal Service rule for every mailbox store, not just ours. Until your Form 1583 is on file, U.S. Mail addressed to you is returned to sender.

Questions people ask
Is this a P.O. box?
No. It's a real street address, 631-2 Promenade Place in Columbia, with your own number. UPS, FedEx, DHL and Amazon deliver to it the same way they deliver to a house.
Why can't packages-only plans get U.S. Mail?
The Postal Service only lets a mailbox store accept your mail once USPS Form 1583 is on file. Packages-only plans skip that paperwork, so they cover private carriers only. Any U.S. Mail sent to you is returned to sender. Switch to a full mailbox plan any time to start receiving mail.
What if I'm getting more packages than I expected?
Two packages on Ship It Here cost $19.98. Lounge Receive Personal is $19.99 for up to 20 a month, so once you're past one package a month, the monthly plan saves you money.
Can someone else pick up for me?
Yes. Add them to your account with their name, phone and driver's license number. They show their own photo ID at the counter.
Do I need to come in to sign up?
No. You can sign up online in your portal. Mailbox plans do need your IDs and Form 1583 before we can take U.S. Mail, and we help you with both.
