Your home address is on the public record.It doesn’t have to be.
South Carolina’s Law Enforcement and Judicial Personal Privacy Protection Act — LEPPPA — gives active and former officers the right to have their personal information removed from public records. The paperwork is the hard part. That’s the part we do with you.
Where your address is showing up
Most officers are in more than one place. Each one is its own separate request — handling one does not handle the others.
Title and registration
Anything titled in your name carries the address you registered it to.
Deed and tax roll
If a home is in your name, the deed and the county tax roll both show it.
Magistrate and clerk
Filings held by the magistrate and the clerk of court can carry it too.
What we do, and what it costs
We print the official forms, sit down and help you fill them out, notarize your signature, make your copies and give you envelopes. You leave with a written checklist of what went where.

Read it over
You check every line and change anything you want changed. You decide which agencies your forms go to, and you confirm the information is accurate.

Sign, notarize, send
You sign in front of our notary. $5. You leave with copies and a checklist, and the envelopes go out from here or home with you.
What to bring
- A government-issued photo ID
- Your agency or department name
- Vehicle information if a car is in your name — the insurance declaration page is the easiest way to get it
- Property information if a home is in your name
- Do NOT sign the affidavit before you get here — it has to be signed in front of the notary

Carrier & Tracking Information
Tracking availability, carrier rules, and delivery timelines vary by shipment and carrier. The Shipping Lounge processes shipments according to carrier guidelines and label requirements provided at the time of drop-off. Customers are responsible for reviewing carrier policies related to insurance, tracking updates, and delivery guarantees.
